Recipes from the Great Chef
Lucky for us some of the great and popular Roman chefs wrote down their most famous recipes in books and scrolls and some of those even survived until today! One of those recipes that survived the millenia is the basis for this blend of different herbs and sea salt. Furthermore, it was written down by none other than the most famous of all ancient Roman chefs: Apicius.
This blend can be used for nearly any food that is savory. Including white and red meat, fish, break, rolls and so forth.
It contains the following ingredients: Sea salt, oregano, parsley, summer savory, dill, thyme, bay leaves, black and white pepper, ginger, curcuma, celery seeds. The blend itself aims to be well balanced and just add the little something extra to every meal.
If you too want to cook and to eat like the old Romans did, then this is the item for you! Not only does it come recommended by the great Apicius but it also produced with great care and an eye for historical accuracy. It also makes for a great gift for every person, that likes to taste new things, experiment in the kitchen or just loves history.
