What is included in the set?
The set includes real papyrus strips in two sizes to make a total of 3 sheets of 10.5 x 15cm (postcard size).

Is the material suitable for children and can they follow the making process?
All materials are suitable for children, high quality and with simple, illustrated instructions. The set is great for children 9 years and older.
Do I need additional materials?
- Two bowls for soaking the papyrus strips
- a water bottle to mix water and wood glue
- a roll of kitchen paper
- a rolling pin
- a kitchen towel
- a simple plant press or material to weigh it down!
- wood glue
- cardboard for smoothing
- cotton cloths for drying
How much time do I have to plan?
With the enclosed "Step by Step" instructions and a little patience, you can already see great results after three to four days. The papyrus sheet created in the "glue - technique" can be used immediately after production for the first writing test.
What can I do with the finished sheet?
The self-made papyrus sheet can be written with different pens. If you want to follow the ancient traces, we advise you to use tempera colors, historical ink and the traditional writing instruments like calamus, goose quill or a real Egyptian rush.
