Craft sheet Vesta Temple
This small, compact circular temple is one of the oldest places of worship in the Roman Forum. The temple was dedicated to Vesta , the goddess of the house and the hearth fire of the city of Rome.
The sacred fire that was always burning there was guarded and protected by six or seven priestesses, the Vestal Virgins. It was a great responsibility not to let the fire go out, as this was considered a bad omen for the city of Rome.
The model shows the temple as it might have looked with figures.
