Who was Vitellius?
Vitellius was one of the four monarchs of the Year OF The Four Emperors. He only reigned a few months in the year 69 AD. Among his peers he was not very well liked. He was said to be an aggressive drunkard only fit to lead an army into battle but not to rule over an civilized empire like the Roman one. Nevertheless, the senat did nothing to stop his advances on the throne.
The relatively short period of reign only left us with very few coins bearing his picture. Therefore, they are quite rare and hard to come buy. One reason more not to hesitate and place an order on this coin now! It will add a certain level of sophistication to every coin collection.
It also makes for a great present or for a great show-and-tell object in history class should you be a teacher.
