The card is easy to work with and the cardboard is sturdy enough for such projects. Perhaps small cast figures and horses on a plastic base would be a useful addition to the shop, rather than the cardboard pictures. My 12-year-old son had fun making something like that

Vor zweitausend Jahren öffneten die prächtigen Villen der Senatoren ihre Türen für spektakuläre Festessen. Diener huschten zwischen Tischen aus edlem Marmor und trugen kunstvoll gewürzte Speisen herein. Moretum, frisches Brot mit Sal Conditus und delikat gewürztes Minutal versprachen Genuss und beeindruckten die Gäste. Jeder Gang war eine Komposition, die sorgsam und exakt nach überlieferten Rezepten zubereitet wurde. In den Küchen arbeiteten erfahrene Köche, die Kräuter in schweren Mortarien zerrieben und mit handgeschmiedeten Craticulae perfekte Röstaromen erzeugten. Der Duft von Kräutern und Honig erfüllte die Räume – ein wahrhaft kaiserliches Mahl.

Die hohe Kunst der römischen Küche

Die Kochkunst der Römer verband schon damals Luxus mit der Freude an authentischem Geschmack. Die sorgfältige Auswahl und Mischung der Gewürze hatte hohen Stellenwert. Rezepte des berühmten Apicius waren bekannt und wurden bis ins Detail befolgt. Kostbare Kräuter, seltene Gewürze und raffinierte Zubereitungstechniken machten diese Gerichte einzigartig. In schweren Mortarien wurden Zutaten frisch zerstoßen, während robuste Steinmühlen Korn für Korn in feinstes Mehl verwandelten.
