The mystery of the pharaoh's ship
Pharaoh Khufu's ship has remained a mystery to mankind to this day. Scientists have pondered for a long time what function it had and why it belonged to Pharaoh Cheops and no one else. After various reconstructions and on the basis of writings from ancient Egypt, as well as various pictorial remains, scientists discovered the actual function of the pharaoh's ship. It was not an ordinary pharaoh's ship, but the ship of the dead of the pharaoh Cheops. It is the oldest surviving ship in the world. The pharaoh's ship dates back to 2565 BC and is 43 meters long. Today it can be viewed in the museum at the Pyramid of Cheops in Egypt.
