The everyday equipment with glasses and ceramics is also really well made and has survived the hard life of a soldier well. In general, the range of products is truly sensational and offers unique products from the Roman era for many age groups and requirements, from hardcore legionnaires to little Roman fans of primary school age.

Satisfied customers

The Dominikanermuseum Rottweil presents in its department "Roman Rottweil - Arae Flaviae" the life in the only Roman city in Baden-Wuerttemberg. We have been a customer of Römershop for a long time for our own museum shop and are convinced of the high and, above all, consistently high quality of the products. The entire team is always looking forward to new products and our shop is an attraction for our visitors thanks to good replicas.

Hello and thank you very much for the great products!

Our students were thrilled with the papyrus coloring pictures and the scarabs. As promised, I am sending you photos of the work with the coloring pictures. I wrote a review for the "scarab" coloring picture, but it can also be added to all the other pictures, since we had different motifs.

The lovingly and authentically designed products from the Römer-Shop have been accompanying me for years and even decades in the field of ancient representation. As a centurion in a Roman military unit until a few years ago, the stationery, from wax tablets to papyrus scrolls, was extremely helpful for high-quality appearances and presentations at museum festivals, in reenactment and in museum education work.

The card is easy to work with and the cardboard is sturdy enough for such projects. Perhaps small cast figures and horses on a plastic base would be a useful addition to the shop, rather than the cardboard pictures. My 12-year-old son had fun making something like that

"Green by Design – Beautifully Crafted" – Crafting Plants That Never Wilt

Cardboard model plants – crafting decorative paper plants | Der Römer Shop

Paper Becomes a Plant – Creativity That Grows

A simple sheet of cardboard – and suddenly a leaf, a blossom, a piece of nature appears. With paper plants, it’s possible to capture the essence of life in your own way: by cutting, folding, and gluing. What seems simple at first becomes a quiet meditation during crafting. Every fold, every line shapes a creation that combines calm, mindfulness, and natural beauty. In this way, a garden arises that never fades – yet tells stories of life.
The fascination lies in the process: Two-dimensional sheets turn into space, simple shapes turn into structure. In the process, something more than decoration emerges.

Paper Gardens – A Homage to Nature

Plants made from cardboard represent both durability and creativity. They bring color, form, and serenity to any room – telling stories of forest, desert, and meadow. A folded fern recalls the rustling of summer leaves, a paper cactus the sun and sand. These small works of art need no water and no care – only imagination and joy in creation. Crafting thus becomes a mindful moment where nature, design, and sustainability flow together.

More Than Crafting: Creations That Last

With our cardboard model plants, you’ll experience crafting fun that lasts. From simple cardboard arise beautiful, sturdy, and sustainable decorations that bring joy and endure over time. Cutting, folding, and gluing combine craftsmanship with aesthetics – all without complicated materials.

  • Durable & eco-friendly: Made from high-quality recycled cardboard
  • Easy to make: Clear shapes and well-explained crafting steps
  • Stylish room decoration: Perfect for windowsills, shelves, and desks

The result: Plants that need no water – yet fill rooms with life. Crafting becomes a moment of relaxation and creativity, where sustainability, design, and the joy of making things yourself come together perfectly.

DIY Nature Experience for Young and Old

Crafting plants means experiencing nature – even without a garden. Cutting, folding, and gluing create not just decoration but a shared experience. Families create small works of art from cardboard together – each blossom, each leaf a contribution to their own paper garden. This promotes creativity, fine motor skills, and teamwork – and in the end, there’s a result to be proud of.
For children it’s an adventure to see how flat cardboard turns into a three-dimensional plant. For adults it’s pure relaxation: focused work, visible progress, and creative calm. This creates a counterbalance to the digital world, beautifying rooms and making the home feel more alive.

Creative Ideas for Shared Crafting Time

Whether cactus, wreath, or fly agaric – every model is a small unique piece. Perfect for family afternoons, DIY evenings, or as a gift idea. A paper leaf wreath for a birthday, a mini jungle for the children’s room, or a green windowsill that needs no watering – the possibilities are endless and make every project special.
This is how crafting becomes a nature experience – creative, sustainable, and full of heart.
