Cleopatra revives Egyptian history as Historical

World famous Cleopatra became as an Egyptian queen and because of her love affair with Julius Caesar and later Marcus Antonius. Cleopatra spoke five languages fluently. Cleopatra VII Philopator rules as the last queen of the Egyptian Ptolemaic Empire and at the same time last female pharaoh from 51 to 30 BC. In the first four years at first she rules together with her brother Ptolemaios XIII, later with other male co-regents, because under the oppression of Rome a doubly occupied throne was legally obligatory. Cleopatra wanted to expand her empire, but could not get through with that against the world power Rome.

Therefore she took the two most powerful romans of their time, at first Gaius Julius Caesar and after his assassination Marcus Antonius, as her lovers and with thier help could improve the position of power of the Ptolemaic Empire for some time. Antonius' defeat against emperor Augustus meant the end of their ruling. Cleopatra and Antonius committed suicide together and Egypt became the Roman province Aegyptus. Let you and your students play these history(ies) with the Hisotricals created true to the details. For sure that way history will never be forgotten!
