Tile painting has never been so easy!
The technique is very simple. All you and your little artists need are water-based or tempera paints. And this is how you proceed:
- Prime the entire mosaic tile with a background color of your choice. You can choose the color in which you want the joints to be kept. Simply spread over the entire mosaic tile with plenty of water.
- After a short drying time (approx. 5-10 minutes), paint the individual tiles of the pattern with the colors of your choice. Stir the paint until it is no longer quite so liquid so that the background color of the mosaic tile can be covered. Bright or plain colors - there are no limits to your imagination!
- Leave to dry and your own antique mosaic tile is ready!
