- printed in German language
- with roman character set
Original texts on a real antique scroll
The original texts are printed in German with Roman uncials. Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus (probably born around 70 AD; died c. 130 - 140 AD), known in German as Suetonius, was a Roman writer and administrator. The biographical approach in Sueton's popular work was long considered a model for historical works. Suetonius became famous for his biographies of the emperors, in which he describes the lives of Roman emperors from Caesar (who, however, should not be considered an emperor in historical terms) to Domitian. For modern historians, his writings provide a valuable source of information about the lives of Roman scholars as well as the first twelve Roman emperors.
