Surely did the Romans like their precious metals and gem stones, but they also liked leaves and rare plants. Therefore, some crowns, or 'coronas' were made out of natural materials like leaves, twigs and so on. Those crowns were mostly used on successful military commanders or other people that earned themselves special merits or ranks. Especially military commanders that could accomplish great advances in the Germanic territories were often crowned with a corona made from oak leaves or other tree leaves typically found in the Germanic regions. Thus, the oak leaves at hand make for a great basis for making your own corona and cosplay as a successful Roman military man. You can also use these leaves in class as a handicraft project for your pupils and so on.
It also can be used just as a decorative element on its own. All in all these naturally dried oak leaves can do everything and more one might expect them to do. Furthermore, they can be used as a great and unique gift for a special someone.
