Roman wooden spoon made of lemon wood - small
This beautifully shaped wooden spoon based on an antique model on the pages of the Roman Shop under the pottery and ceramics category in the plates and bowls section is ideal for all dishes and all forms of eating and cooking utensils! The fact that the approximately 15 to 17 centimetre long spoon is made from genuine, untreated and purely natural lemon wood makes this Roman cooking utensil stand out.
It is also very robust and stable and extremely easy to clean thanks to the very smooth surface of the Mediterranean wood. The sharpened back also makes it easy to skewer meat or vegetables! A real all-rounder, so to speak.

Even Socrates was devoted to the "beauty" of a cooking spoon... It was not allowed to be made of gold or any other precious metal. The cooking utensil should be made of wood - in this case, the philosopher suggested cedar. This unique piece of lemon wood is certainly a special utensil in the kitchen and on the table.
The wood not only gives it an antique look, but also protects the coating of pots and pans. These are easily scraped out with the wooden utensil without leaving any marks. The antique wooden spoon is also decorative thanks to its simplicity and practicality. The spoon in the medium size measures approximately 20 to 22 centimetres and is an ideal complement to the spoon in the "small" size.
Note:
Wooden utensils have been in daily use as tableware in many countries for centuries. However, German legislation requires food certification for their use in accordance with the Foodstuffs and Commodities Act (LFBG), which is unfortunately very expensive and would have a negative impact on the low selling price of our products. We therefore only offer this product as a prop or replica, which is not certified for food, at least by definition.
