Vikings jewellery Hidden Sea amulet bronze
One of the most beautiful pieces of jewellery from the vikings' time are those, that are called in the process of the so called technique of granulation and filigree. On different base plates pearls, filaments, eyes, rings or other small objects were soldered to that.
From the dock of the vikings' settlement Haithabu comes a discovery of the so called partix.

The so called treasure from the Hidden Sea was freed by the storm tides in 1872 and 1874 on the East Coast. The discovery, that were a choker, a fibula, six big pendants formed like a cross, four small connecting parts, is out of pure gold!
