Traian - Roman emperor by adoption
Traian was Rome's emporer from 98 to 117 AD, reached the biggest extension of the Roman Empire of area and is considered as the most important ruler of Rome. During the time of his ruling he had the goodwill of the senate and popularity in the population. The people considered him as a caring emperor.
Traian - an ideal ruler?
For a long time Traian by the science was considered as the ideal ruler. Since the 1960s there were critical analysis with the person. His attributes were:
