The statue is attributed to the holy place of Dodona which was considered the most important sanctuary and oracle in ancient Greece, next to Delphi.
Dodona is the oldest oracle in the country and is still associated with the cult of Zeus. Among other things, Odysseus travelled to Dodona and under Phillip of Macedonia (father of Alexander the Great) numerous statues were created there for the Zeus temple.
The oracles were interpreted, among other things, from the rustling of an oak tree dedicated to Zeus and the flight of doves.
To this day, it is an unforgotten place steeped in history and closely associated with Zeus, the father of all gods.
