All the texts are printed in English according to classical latin translation and in roman uncials on the roman scroll. This ancient form of a book, the roman scroll on real papyrus, is perfectly usable in lessons of history or art, as well as of latin. In the Roman Shop furthermore there are blanco scrolls out of papyrus, which you can design and write on together with your students.
The ancient scroll contains roman texts in English as well as tradition of ancient authors - for example Sueton's "Ancient reports about the despot Gajus Julius Cesar" on real papyrus. For sure students will discover this way a completely new access to classical literature.
Nearly to completely maintained is the work of Sutton, which appeared in 120 BC: De vita Caesarum, the emperor's biography. This writing containing eight books Sueton dedicated to his patron Septicius Clarus. It are twelve biographies of roman autocrats. We fabricate special ancient "cista" in handicraft out of willow, in which already in the Antiquity the roman scrolls were kept. The are decorative and in period style in the living room, scriptorium and for sure impress the students, because they are a "mobile wall of bookshelves"!
