Modeled after real archaeological finds in Pompeji and copied from an Egyptian mummy portrait. This was found 1887 in Er-Rubayat (Ägypten) and is an exhibit in "Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien". The woman, wich is drawed, lived in an Roman province 300-310 AD while Egypt was conquered by the Roman Empire.
