The bust made of natural and fine casting material of high quality presents the fourteenth Roman emperor Hadrian. The surface is equipped with a coating, that gives the impression of being massive silver, which oxidised over a longer time or is weathered. The black pedestal gives the whole thing an additional imposing appearance. To avoid possible scratch marks on the furniture the bottom was equipped with a felt basis.
