Styling scene relief of Roman Patrona
Whether for a hair salon or your dressing room, this replica relief is a highlight for your walls: the Roman styling scene dates from around 220 AD, the original is preserved in the Landesmuseum of Trier, Germany. It is one of the most impressive reliefs with attention to sculptural detail. Our replica is made of heavy cast ceramics which is patinated.
The wall plastic relief with rear suspension shows a Patrona seated in the finely woven chair. Four young servants with apex node in the hair are busy trying to set the hairstyle of the mistress. The lady is dressed in a delicate undergarment which droppes off on a wide foot stool.
The Patrona is closely following the work of the servants in a mirror. Her expression is strict, but also pleasing.
