Gallo Roman horse goddess Epona III
Epona is the Celtic goddess of fertility and amongst the Romans the goddess of horses. Epona is derived from the Celtic name "epic" (horse).
The original was found in Freiberg, Geisingen (germania superior) and shows the goddess Epona on a horse sitting as a votive relief.
