So he goes unrecognized among the people and the gods to learn their secrets and stories. Odin was the wise and powerful head of all gods. Thus he was worshipped for his strength and fighting spirit on the one hand and appreciated as a source of knowledge and the search for knowledge on the other.

The wolves Geri and Freki bring him his hunting luck and with his sword Gungnir Odin started the first war in the world.
