This oil lamp is not just any oil lamp. It is a very detailed recreation of a real archaeological find made near the German town of Trier. In antiquity Trier used to be a big Roman settlement. Finds from this area are therefore rather frequent. Nevertheless, this replica is made with great love to details. The face of the Roman God Bacchus, which is the most prominent feature of this lamp, is very detailed and seems vivid. But also the rest of the lamp is nicely manufactured and neatly done. You will have a hard time telling it apart from the real deal. Additionally to that, it is ready to use as soon as you get it. You just need to fill in some vegetable oil and light the wick. You will feel like a real Roman withing seconds.

nicht ganz billig, aber wirklich toll (inkl. Verarbeitung und Abwicklung)
Nicht ganz billig ist der taschenrechner-große/kleine Abakus ein cooles Demo-Stück im Unterricht, die Schüler hat's fasziniert.
Die Abwicklung von der Bestellung über die Lieferung bis hin zur Rechnung/Bezahlung war absolut zuvorkommend und vorbildlich. Ein echt empfehlenswerter online-Shop!
