A unique piece of history

The cup at hand is trying to recreate Roman dinnerware from the 1st and 2nd century A.D. This was a a very plentiful and rich period in Roman history. The economy was stable, the empire was expanding greatly and everywhere new markets popped up. Many rich and wealthy Romans of that period like to surround themselves with fine and beautiful objects. That was also true for cups, plates and more. Furthermore, out of gratitude they tried to implement the Gods of their face into their daily lives as frequently as possible. Thus, it should not seem puzzling that Minerva, a Roman goddess, made it onto a drinking container.
This cup aims to imitate Roman dinnerware of high quality, normally only available to the well-off. Should you feel like experiencing what it has felt like to dine like one of Rome's 1% then you will not succeed in doing so without this cup!
It is ready for use and also makes for a good and unique present. Cup Data
