Very nice and authentic replica of a medieval wooden lantern made of rosewood with real rawhide (parchment) made of thin translucent leather.
The lamp consists of two hexagonal wooden panels connected by rods. The candle, or rather the drip tray on which the candle stands, is pulled up with a wooden rod and can thus be easily replaced and lit. A very smart patent, which was already used in the Middle Ages.
This lamp is ideal for re-enactment, but is also suitable for the home garden and has a steel carrying handle.
