Our Roman jug is suitable not only for fans of Roman history. The antique style of this handmade jug has a beautiful, bulbous shape and fits with its terracotta color to each Roman table. The pitcher has a glaze inside with 1 litre capacity. The jug can be used for both cold and warm drinks. The natural characteristics of clay is of great benefit, as it ensures that hot is kept warm and cold remains cool. Prior to use, simply immerse the jug for half an hour in cold or hot water, and the warming or cooling effect is enhanced.
Genuinely handcrafted for your table
Each jug is a handcrafted piece of art, made on the Potter's wheel. In the style of the period from around 200 AD jugs were made of red terra sigillata with elegantly curved handle. Serve your guests wine from this decorative jug and you don't need to worry about the washing up, as the interior glazing makes the removal of all residues (be it fruit, tea, coffee or alike) very easy.
