Roman villa for self-assembly

These great and colorful cut-out sheets will give a brief moment of pleasure to young and old children, but also generate interest in the history of ancient Rome.

Crafting, playing and learning - experiencing history in a sustained manner

Most children are very interested in historical content, but they can only concentrate on the information for a certain period of time. A great help for learning are projects that combine craftsmanship, fun and history. Children (and adults) learn a lot about life in times past when they are crafting, whereby the story does not just turn into dry numbers. The cut-out sheets are suitable for children of different age groups and can be assembled alone or in the group. Thus, piece by piece a Villa Romana is formed, which resembles to well-known examples like the Villa Borg. Even play figures are included, which makes it possible to reenact everyday scenes.

Experience the Roman urban life up close

The life of the Roman urban population mainly took place in the large town-villas in which wealthy families lived. Slaves generally took care of the household and the kitchen, but it was not only the servants who made the life of Roman citizens much easier. They also benefited from the sophisticated technologies that turned the town-villas into modern buildings with great comfort. Many of the inventions that we can found in today´s houses were created during this time, which is why the innovative structures of Roman builders are admired even today.

High quality workmanship and uncomplicated construction

The set contains many cut-out sheets, from which a villa and many play figures are created. This Roman villa is also suited as a gift set, because it contains, in addition to the cut-out sheets, also glue and cutting tools, so that you can start immediately. A manual and drawings make the assembly very simple, since they reveal how the finished villa will look.

5 from 5 Just amazing

This model is one of my favourites. It does take some time to make and is quite large, but the amount of details, the colours and general layout are simply amazing. The beauty of this building is that you can use 1/72 or 20mm figures along with it. It brings the whole thing alive. From a complication point of view I was amazed to see how easy it was. I expected it to be a lot harder to make quite frankly.

Happy building! You wont be disappointed.
