Emperor Hadrian spent most of his childhood in Spain, but he moved to the city of Rome when he became a teenager. The fields of culture and art influenced him significantly and he was quickly inspired by philosophy and the Greek language. Hadrian was just ten years old when his father died unexpectedly.
