A Coin for Everyone
Genuine ancient sesterces usually were made of silver or at least partly made of this metal. Tin was never used to mint coins, for it is too weak and not precious enough. But that does not change the fact that this here coin is a marvelously and neatly done copy of coins like they were used during the 2nd century AD. Additionally, to its heavy weight and outstanding level of detail it not only feels genuine but also does look the part even if it is not.
Every coin collector will be proud to have this coin in his or her collection. And it makes for a great present for everyone interested in coins! The same is true for reenactment purposes. If you want to pay with genuine roman money without having to hand out real ancient coins then this might be a good alternative.
