Looks good but not really usable

This knife looks great, but it arrived with no edge at all to the blade: the place where the edge should have been was actually flat, so it couldnt have cut anything at all. I had to get it professionally sharpened by someone with a grindstone, and he told me that the metal of the blade is very soft and will become dull almost immediately. However, once sharpened its good enough to cut fruit with and to scrape the burned bits off badly-made Roman bread with, and thats all I needed. The blade is prone to rust if not kept oiled, but of course thats authentic.

Schwer, handlich, schön verarbeitet

Wie andere Kunden war ich überrascht, wie schwer das Messer ist. Optisch sehr ansprechend, liegt wunderbar in der Hand.

ein echter Hingucker

War erstaunt, wie groß und schwer (285g) das Messer ist. Wird ziemlich stumpf geliefert, aber dann jeder selber entscheiden, wie scharf er das Messer haben will - je nach Verwendungszweck.
Bin in meiner Römergruppe ein ziviler Knochenschnitzer und da ist so ein Messer ein MUSS...
Habe mehrere Sachen bestellt, kam alles in der erhofften Qualität und problemlos schnell an - trotz Lockdown...;-)
Kann den Laden nur empfehlen!

römisches Küchenmesser

Sehr handlich, ausgewogene Gewichtung. Nur scharf war es nicht. Habe 45min mit dem Schleifsteinen nachhelfen müssen. Dafür geht´s nun durch die Tomaten wie nichts...
