Caesar’s history
Gaius Iulius Caesar was born on July 13, 100 BC in Rome. He was assassinated on March 15, 44 BC. Caesar was not just a, he was the Roman statesman, one of their most powerful and skilled military commander and author who contributed significantly to the end of the Roman Republic and worked towards its development towards an Empire. Caesar conquered the entire Gaul in the years of 58 BC to 51 BC. In the subsequent Roman civil war of 49 to 45 BC, Caesar won the autocracy. After his appointment as dictator for life, he was assassinated. His grandnephew and main heir, Octavian, the later Emperor Augustus, made the monarchy permanent, and so it remained for the next centuries, translated even into the Middle Ages and into modernity.
The impressive bust is a tribute to the Roman statesman, and we have carefully replicated the original, although reduced the size. The original is exhibited in the Vatican Museum in Rome and we worked on a detailed 3D scan, so that the reduction matches all the original proportions.
We use natural materials and a black marble base which makes the bust a particularly decorative eye-catcher.
