Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus was born 15 December 37 in Antium, today Anzio; he died on 9 or 11 June 68 near Rome. He reigned from 54 to 68 AD.
Nero saw himself as an artist and was the last representative of the Venezia Giulia Claudian dynasty. Today, Emperor Nero is known as the enemy of Christianity, an artist and art lover.
The bust is a detailed replica of the portrait of Emperor Nero with his classic beard. It is made of Alabaster, a hardened marble dust, and stands on a polished black marble base.
