Serious words can be perpetuated on this quite special Roman wax tablet! These very unique Roman wax tablets in the form of a contract (lat. contractus) allow to carve the wax for eternity, using the stylus.
The wax tablets are complex manufactured tablets of pure wood with red seal and imprints of Roman signet rings. The carved insides are protected permanently by folding up and binding with strings.
By sealing with the string and having up to seven witnesses signing by ink on the outside, you will give away a piece of eternity: whether manifestations of love, an agreement or even a certificate … By the way, the concept of „a book sealed with seven seals' was created in this manner.
