Antique basketry in a small series

In the ancient historical tradition of craftsmanship baskets are made to the "Antique wicker" Roman-shop pages by hand after antique models. Since there is little archaeological evidence, the reconstruction is a true challenge. It is supported primarily by Roman fresco paintings and stone carvings.

All Basketry - if basket with straight bars, sovereign fruit basket, a basket of dried flowers for decoration or with crossed rods - they are all fully operational and braided from various species of willows; faithful to the original illustrations.

After much experimentation in manufacturing and braiding these unique pieces are finally in small series in Romans Shop!
